Developments and letters

October - December 2019

The mail to the State Secretary, written immediately after the townhall meeting of 23 September 2019, was answered (in Dutch) on behalf of the State Secretary on 31 October 2019. That same 31 October 2019, I immediately sent my response to the State Secretary.

On Monday 25 November 2019 I was invited for an interview with the government commissioner and his deputy (at the request of the state secretary). After this conversation I will send my reaction to the State Secretary, of course with copies to Messrs Franco and Stegers.

Thursday 5 December 2019 Minister Knops will send a progress report concerning St. Eustatius to the House of Representatives. This report is accompanied by a annex (in Dutch).

On 7 December 2019 I will e-mail the Committee on Health, Welfare and Sport of the Lower House of Parliament about the anxiety (not to say: anger) that exists about the functioning of the 'ZVK'.

On 15 December 2019 I will send my appreciation of Minister Knops' progress report of 5 December 2919.

On 18 December 2019, I receive an email from Ms. Diertens (D66): "At my request, your letter will be included in the debate! Then eea can no longer be ignored. Best regards, Antje". This is the first time that my letters are not just accepted "for notification"!
